OTP TRAP (“we”, “our”, or “service”) is a development sandbox designed for developers to capture simulated SMS and WhatsApp verification payloads during software testing. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information.
Account Information: When registering, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed representation of your password.
Testing Payloads: When using the Ingestion API, we store simulated message text, virtual recipient numbers, sender names, and optional metadata that you transmit for the duration of your project retention period.
We use collected information solely to provide, secure, and maintain the developer sandbox. We do not sell personal data, share message bodies with advertisers, or send captured data to third-party telecommunication providers.
Captured test messages are automatically pruned when they reach your configured project retention expiration (default 7 days). You can delete messages, projects, or your entire account at any time from your console settings.
